Got a set of these now, usually stick to shimano but strayed for once and looking for the best way of bleeding them, the rear is a bit spongy so will need a quick bleed to fix. Looking round there's a few kits, but the usual two syringes looks messy on this system, is there a good kit out there?

I use the “Tuning bikes” kit from eBay but looks the same as the Epic one. Two syringes with the screw fitting. Need to be patient as You’ll think you’ve got all the air out then a load of tiny bubbles seem to appear from nowhere. Took me 2 goes to get right as I was used to the Shimano bleed. Worth it though as they are great brakes.

I was going to get this for mt5 brakes as it seems to have a screw in adaptor for lever and caliper were alot of kits seem to only have a screw in for caliper

I have a Shimano kit but doesn't have a screw in adaptor for caliper as Shimano brakes have bleed nipples

i have the epic kit. works fine.

be careful of screwing in an adapter into the level assembly. it'll be fragile and easily broken.

Can't say I agree with the reasoning but the point is the same.

There's no need, at all, to screw into the lever, don't do it, if you do damage the threads you'll be very cross, especially since you did it doing something pointless.

Plug a syringe with a hole drilled most of the way up the cylinder straight into the lever. (have the plunger just below the hole when you do, then pull up the plunger far enough to release the vacuum.)

Thread into the caliper and then pull & push from the caliper

Always used the syndicate method for magura and it works fine with a bubble bleed to finish. Bit wasteful of fluid mind but I've never liked pissing around with syringes.

Or, trip to the car shop, get a M6 x 1mm thread bleed nipple some wiper hose and a couple of syringes and you've got yourself an 17 quid Epic kit.

I did this 24 hrs ago. Easy. Used a pipe cutter. Set the lever vertical. No bleed required.
