Ideally a decent fit with no "twit gap" between leg bottom and knee pad, couple of zipped pockets, hard wearing, cheers.

I can only see XL for under £50 but I'm dead impressed with my Madison Tempest 3/4's. Other sizes just sneak over your budget.

Tick, although I don't mind them a bit shorter.

Endura Singletrack 2's here too.

I've never looked at another short since getting a pair (and successive pairs) of these. Supremely comfortable and hard wearing. They do have one front Zipped pocket for cash/key with two magnet closure front pockets and two OS map size velcro closure rear pockets. Rears will also take tube, tool, light pertex windproof if need be.

Such a comfortable and versatile short.

Not indestructible but do put up with a lot of abuse.
Current model even has a proper button rather than poppers on the waistband.

Just been looking myself. Found some ion shorts with liner included on Stiff's site for under £40, but only in a 34" waist. Sadly too big for me otherwise at the price worth a punt.

I'd bet on myself getting another pair of Humvees. Now that they have sorted the waist fastener with a proper button they are decent short and liner combo for the money

Couple of sets of fake troy lee motos off the eBay... about £20 a pair.

I don't know if they're actually fake, they come with all the tags etc, they just seem too good to be true at £20.

I have some orange ones and some black ones. One set has magnetic poppers sewn in to the pocket flap, they other set have actual poppers. All good.
