I'm 'upgrading' to a 1x specific frame, and currently have all 10spd kit, so looking to go 11spd as I'd have to buy everything besides a shifter to get the range I want/need anyway.
It's a boost frame, and I've got an SLX double crank, which will apparently give an acceptble chainline with the chainring in the outer position, but possibly spaced in 1mm. Have also got a 32T Superstar NW ring in stock.
So, 'all' I need is a casette (for shimano freehub), mech, chain and a shifter. Was thinking 11-46 on the casette, otherwise 11-42 and get a 30T chainring.
CRC for M7000 mech and shifter, M8000 chain and casette is about £165.
Anything cheaper around?
Sunrace mx8 11-46 is a better cassette, £55 from eBay sellers.
I just went 1 x 11. XT shifter, mech and One Up NW (comes with 2mm spacers which do give a much better chainline) from CRC. Sram X1 chain from Planet X. Sunrace 11-50 from Athleteshop. Around £200 all in with CRC 10% discount and a couple of codes.
Have a look at the Germans. I got my XT shifter, rear mech, suntour cassette and chain for similar money
