We're looking for a good introduction to the Berwyns, probably on the southern side, as we're staying in Oswestry. Looking for something around 15 miles, not too scary, with pretty scenery . . . and ideally cake 😀
I've found LOADS of routes in guidebooks and online, so it's a bit difficult to choose in this unfamiliar area. Is it well-ridden, or will the trails be overgrown and indistinct?
I'd love to hear your recommendations (or bits to avoid!)
Many thanks
Esme
On second thoughts, forget the cake . . . . I've just been looking at holiday photos 😳
I live in Oswestry and there are may good rides in the area. Quite happy to show / send a route.
Thanks, guys - that Ceiriog Valley route looks good, and we could start it nearer to Oswestry
Thanks for that Edge link as I too am looking for routes in the area.
