camping on mull for a couple of weeks with the family. anyone got any routes or advice re ben more? don't mind carrying at all but would appreciate some advice re routes from other riders.

From memory of walking up it a couple of years back, you'd be walking all the way up and much of the way down (depending on skill level). Bottom part might be more rideable but was very boggy and probably easily damaged.

Neighbour reckons Calgary beach can't be beaten.
will be starting off in the south west corner and may spend a couple of nights at calgary, on the way towards tobermory. Hope the weather picks up. Can't rain forever can it?
If you're after some biking then Ulva is worth a look. Some nice riding over there and great seafood in the wee cafe by the slipway, friendly otter too 🙂
