Time for a new helmet, giro xen has been a great lid for me but after 4 years of wearing it, its looking rather knackered now.
Thinking of getting a new helmet with plenty back coverage like the bell super, tried on the ixs trail lid but not happy with the sizing plus the helmet dips down at the front and is constantly seen while riding..not good 😐
Tried on the troy Lee a1 helmet and can't believe how comfy that was, but doesn't have many air vents and it's a lot more expensive. So basically looking for people's thoughts on this helmet or the troy a1or any other helmet that has plenty protection at the back. Cheers.

Got the Bell Super, fits my head even better than my old (xen) helmet that I thought fitted well, has great coverage & doesn't look completely rubbish (ala Met Parabellum). Might be a bit heavy compared to some, but I'm not worried about that

I like my Urge Endro matic but it does get quite warm and holds sweat big time before releasing it in the wind or when you look down! It's a good night riding helmet though because the round vents fit a joy stick helmet mount nicely.

Mines looking a bit battered now so I'm going for a Bell Super because it looks pretty good and will hopefully be a but more vented.

Had mine for a few days now, loving the fit and feel of it, in between sizes so I chose the medium and think it was the right choice too. Managed to fix my Ultrafire light to the lid using one of those Livestrong type wrist bands and a velcro strap that I got from the Olympics.
Overall really pleased with it.
