These appear to be the best choices? Any thoughts on which might be best for my six year old daughter? I’m leaning towards the Fox for no reason other than I love my Proframe... thanks! 🙂
It would have been good if they came with different sized pads like my Fox, but that doesn’t seem to be the case with either.
Bell are nice.
Have a virtually new Super 2R that unfortunately got grown out of too fast.
Would recommend them all day long.
Thanks, are you by chance selling the 2R? If yes, what size is it? 🙂
Yup - it’s a small
It’s the full MIPS version with the removable chin bar that is certified for racing use.
Cool, that should be up to 55cm which should be the right size. I’ve sent you a message. 🙂
none unless they are actually doing something that they need it for.
She will wear her open face for normal trails, but she is already going down red stuff at a rate of knots on her Vitus 20; I am guessing that pace will increase when she gets her Hellion 20 at Christmas. I will keep tabs on her to make sure her neck isn’t getting too tired, progress slowly and limit overall duration. What objections do you have to kids wearing full face helmets going down technical trails? I’ve seen quite a few consequences of them “only” wearing open face helmets...
If you can get to a race bmx shop there are usually lots of options for kids (as full face is compulsory for racing). As with everything if it doesn't fit and isn't comfortable it doesn't matter what brand it is. My son has a Fly racing full face that he got when he was six and surprisingly it still just fits at 10 - was reasonably economical. He wears it DHing too. He still struggles with the D ring though...
Whichever one fits better.
