Really like my 4forty but its getting a bit old and the pads are falling apart again. Obvious upgrade is the Sixer.

I'm also on the hunt for a helmet light and tempted by the Alpkit Bosun, which works with the Exposure (Joystick) mount.

Before I spend ~£20 on the mount can anyone confirm that it will work properly on this helmet? Also, any cheaper alternatives mount wise? Alpkit offer bar mount only as far as I can see..

Yep I have the sixer and mount an exposure joystick using the exposure action cam style mount. Very handy for taking the light in and off. Only problem so far is that very rarely on a super hard landing, the mount can ping off. This has only happened twice in a couple of years' worth of use.
I seem to remember the helmet side of the mount came with the lid. You might get not have to buy one separately.
