Looks like a good contender for a new lid. Tried on, feels comfy. Who has one and how do you rate it? I'd be going MIPS and would be interested in how well it vents/keeps your head cool.

Interested in this too. Tried one on the other day and the fit was really good and it felt nice and light too. What put me off was when the inner cradle was adjusted to its lowest point (via the adjuster mechanism at the back) the thin parts of the cradle (along the sides) almost touched the top of my ears and I was concerned it might be uncomfortable and/or rub? I know the cradle is adjustable and I could raise it up a bit at the back but then it wouldn't be as low down with the rear section sitting under the back of my skull.

Worn mine (MIPS one) for the first time today doing Snowdon. Once ratcheted up it stayed in place throughout. It didn't feel ultra light but certainly not noticeable. The notched pad at the front does its job well, beading sweat away from your face. I could see it dripping in front of me, but never on me, which is cool. I went for the neon and black colour, which I think looks neat. Got mine for £67 so no grumbles from me at all.

I have ended up with a free non-MIPS one. I tried it briefly. It felt as comfy as my Montaro but as my 4Forty doesn't have MIPS I decided to stick with my Montaro.
