Hi
The rear tubeless Nobby Nic on my Giant Trance blew out today about ten minutes after pumping it. Doesn't seem to like pressure any more.. I have had it for one year and about 4,000km.
There is a horrible looking welt (see picture, round the white "pimple", bottom centre), it seems to be holding for now but I think it might finally be time to replace the tyre?
If so, any recommendations for a tubeless rear replacement? I mostly race single tracks, gravel and fire roads.. up and downhill.
Thanks..!

Looks like it may have seen better days, but not worn out. If they're the ones that came on the bike, they may well be the cheap, wire bead, hard compound ones, so pretty much any of the regular recommendations will be an improvement.

(I would say WTB Vigilante, because that's what I have 😉 )

If you are happy with Nics, then same again, but in evo snakeskin spec.
Or for more speed, a Racing Ralph, again snakeskin evo.

For similar grip to a Nic, specialized Ground Control either in a control casing or Grid if it's sidewall shredding local terrain. OR a good tough fast and cheap rear - Geax Saguaro.

Agree with Yak, if you liked the Nic and you got 4000km out of it,replace it with another Nic
