I've looked at lots of stuff but nothing has helped yet.
New to me 2010 REba 120 U-Turns, good overall condition but when I got the on the bike I've noticed that they're not getting full travel when I put my 94kg into them - they seem fine initially but stop with about 65mm between the lower wiper seals and the top of the stanchions.
I've tried with and without air in the + and - chambers but it's always the same.
I've taken the lowers off and although the air spring smoothly goes all the way into the stanchion the motion control side does not. When I undid the nuts on the lowers I was expecting too much oil to come out of the neg side indication a leaking motion control and a hydro-locked lower, but the was hardly any oil at all.
Any thoughts?
Too much oil in damper?
Would pull damper cartridge out and see if your able to obtain full travel.
Ahhh yes.... I'll have a crack at that tomorrow.
Pulled the damper and drained it - all working fine so I refilled with 100ml oil and put it back together, fixed 🙂
