Usually behind camera but here's me on the Howgills backend of 2016

Not fancying driving to the Yorkshire Dales amongst mega traffic, I opted for Ripley Castle nr.Ripon. Just picked a route off the map and generally followed a large circular route over towards Brimham Rocks. Really nice route with it being dry but never would I attempt a repeat after rain.

Not clear from your post, but I assume this was a celebratory ride? If so, big congratulations! Looks like the perfect way to celebrate turning 70.

Happy (belated?) birthday. Hope I am still out riding and having a laugh with my mates when I'm your age.

Saxon Rider: Yep first ride since reaching 70. Perhaps I should have put today's photo first to make it clearer?

Chapeau 🙂

Many fingers crossed I am still riding at your age and frankly that I make it that far. My ex-neighbour who introduced me to mountain biking in 2004 just bought the new Ducatti for his 69th.

Happy birthday Pennine. I'm 'only' 60!

Maybe we should cobble an 'Old Codgers' ride together? 60 yrs & older only?

(Not including Ton, he can come cos he looks 60) 😉

Not quite there, 68 today. Out yesterday for short spin in the sun along the foot of the Correen Hills in Aberdeenshire.

The plus side is being able to ride midweek when the trails are dry (it was a bit windy today)

Good work OP.

Makes my 52 years seem like I'm still in kindergarten!

Nice one OP. My 79 year old father in law has just buggered off to Europe on his Honda pan-european. Not sure when he's back. Apparently depends on the string of ladies putting him up 🙂
