Recently noticed lateral play in the rear wheel , we fully tight and bearings in tip top condition , what could it be ??

It appears there is an issue with the rear design and the bolt thru axle, had a couple back - changed the axle and hey presto! defo worth a chat with your place of purchase/dealer.
