Hello fellow riders,

I wanted to change the pivot bearings of the above mentioned bike, but somehow I am failing to find any reliable information on what sizes those should be. I am also not able to find a bearing kit for this bike, which is a bit odd.

I have also contacted LaPierre about a week ago, but so far I have not received an answer.

Has some of you already done this procedure, and can tell me what sizes bearings I need to get? Or perhaps where I could order them online?

Thanks for the help in advance 🙂

Have you tried emailing support@raleigh.co.uk? I had to contact them about an issue and the help I received was speedy and really helpful.

Best make sure you can get the pivot axle out before spending on bearings. MrsP had a slightly earlier zesty and the main pivot was a nightmare to shift.

Thanks a lot for your replies. The exploded diagrams were very useful and showed that I apparently have bushings at the rear triangle. And those have proven to be quite hard to find so far where I live. But at least I now know what bearings I need so I can order them and change them.

Thanks again 🙂

So with the help of the exploded diagram, I was able to get the right size bearings and change them. It was quite a frustrating process to be fair, but it all worked out well in the end.
Thank you all for the suggestions and help.
Cheers 🙂
