I believe the bearings need changing with my Whyte G150,, I have all the bearings just not the tool. Can anyone advise which one I need?
Also, do you need to replace the washers at the back of the bearing when replacing the bearings or is it ok to keep those?
Thanks
Iv found out my bearings are Kpax5 but still can't find tool
I thought the G and T-series Whytes had a lifetime warranty on the bearings?
They do have a lifetime warranty on the frame bearings, but it's still 2hrs labour to pay for at LBS, still find that strange if car needs warranty work, labour included but not on bikes. I've had 4 sets in 18mnth on my G150 seriously thinking of an orange 4 or 5 next getting pissed off with paying for so called warranty...
To press them in? Is there a reason a normal bearing press (such as the excellent Unior one) won't do the trick?
The Superstar version is very good, only have a few sizes left though.
