Tapped a pivot bolt out today to replace the bearings, one of them came out with the bolt and refuses to budge. Any tips for un-seizing the bugger?

Cheers in advance!

Heat and a puller ,
Or clamp bearing in a vice and tap the bolt if you get left with the inner race on the bolt .
Repeat with the vice or cut a slot in the race to relive the tension

Cheers, I'll give it a go tomorrow. Also - any tips on getting the new bearings in square ? I'm using the socket and threaded rod set up!

Sockets can drop in and damage seals. Try and find cylinders with a flat face before pushing rounded edged sockets in there.

Dremel is probably the best bet.
I took off the outer race and removed the bearings then cut through the inner race with a plasma cutter and it worked brilliantly!

Blowtorched the bearing, gripped it in a vice and managed to knock the bolt through.

Ended up drifting the new bearings in with mallet and screwdriver in the end as I just couldn't get them to go in square. Terrifying, lots of swearing, but the job is done.
