The bearings in my Model C rear wheel need replacing, after only 2 months too! Just called Planet X and they didn't know what the bearing model numbers were? Can anyone help?
Sorry someone gave you no info.
We're working on it.
Thanks
6901(aka 61901)- 2rs and 6001-2rs for the rear. Haven't cracked the front hub yet which i thought would be easier?! But px ignored my email asking for servicing advice or instructions; so thanks for that px.

Isn't it just a pair of 5mm hex keys and a 6mm one and it all screws apart?
Cheers jota180 - i was to busy rounding off those pox grub screws, and then my 3 year old ended my tinkering time.
No idea but the bearings failed on my px a57 rear wheel after less than 600 miles, replaced under warranty but took over a month. Rear wheel bearings gone again on Wednesday and only been using it since mid May and hardly used that particular bike over summer.
Normal wear and tear say the boys at px. I wouldn't buy again.
Took about 3 to 4 months of hard riding for my model c bearings to fail which I did find worryingly fast. But replaced with some fag bearings, and these have been ticking on for 9 months now and still feel sound. I just figured, cheap wheels, cheap bearings; but the rest of the wheel has stood up well so far so not really grumbling for the money.
