Sorry - impossible dilemma
My GF wants a new "commuter"
She can get anything that wheelies list via the work scheme and as she pays 40% tax shes on to a winner
(I am happily the pussy whipped house husband here LOL)
Looking at it objectively theres no way the Dawes is worth a grand more than the Kaff paying full price and even after the C2W I cant see that its that great a deal after all of the paperwork and hassle
She wants a bike to take to work, use for trips/weekends away and keep up with the local club on winter rides
So Kaffenbach at £800 or Ultra Galaxy at £1k ish after the tax breaks plus a years never never?
Or even something else
Thanks in advance
I use a Kaff for exactly the above but unless she's as heavy as me and is gonna do double panniers I suspect it would be a bit over engineered for club rides.
Sounds like a job better suited for the Planet X RT-58 Alloy? Lighter and spare cash for a second set of wheels maybe.
