As i get E Mails from Mountain Bike BC i started to read the latest blog. There were a couple written by Johnny Smoke which got me thinking about BBB. Turns out they were taken over earlier this year by a local ( to Whistler) company, as i said im late to the party 🙄 🙄 🙄
I know when i think it was a guy called Martin sold his Whistler chalet and retired they lost their accommodation provider and then relied on customers going AirBnB on a DIY basis and now i guess like a lot of others the Pandemic has taken its toll.
Ive been fortunate enough to go twice with Ticket 2 Ride, the second time for the whole Summer. Maybe im untypical but i personally if im going on a trip like that id rather not have to DIY, buy the complete package and just sort my flights. Seems a gap in the market to me but as i said times change and maybe most people are happy to sort flights, accommodation transfers and guiding separately and take a chance it all comes together.
