I need to remove the bloody Race Face BB from my YT Jeffsy carbon. BB92 (Ø30mm spindle and Ø41mm shell ID). Can anyone tell me what tools work with this?
X Race Face puller is generally unavailable or hideously expensive. ParkTool BBT90.3 is for 24mm spindles.
? Will the ParkTool BBT30.3 do it?
Or the Unior BB30 1625/2? – is the inside diameter big enough?
Other alternatives?

Make your own from a steel tube. I did and saved 30 quid.

Mine came out really easy with a couple of taps with a bit of copper pipe. Replaced with this

If you're not refitting it, then any old drift will do

If you are not planning on refitting I generally use a Big screwdriver/punch and hammer then just tap around the inside edges. Normally a bit stubborn to start with but once it starts to move comes out pretty quickly. Once you have 1 out the second is a piece of cake

I gently drove mine out on my carbon Jeffsy using a rubber mallet and big screwdriver.

Replaced with the PF41.

Fitting the new BB was the really hairy bit for me! 😯

Thanks all! Sounds as though a DIY tool is the go. OK here I go.
