Right, I'm new to all this 'press fit' malarky and trying to get some parts sorted before a new frame turns up (Commencal Meta).

From what I've read it take a bb92 press fit 24mm, does this mean my options are as follows:

Race Face bb = Raceface or Shimano 24mm crankset

SRAM bb = Sram GPX crankset

Yes, that's it. Is it a Meta v3? If so the Raceface BB fits best without need for modification (others will fit but you might need to cut a bit off the back to get the cups all the way in).

Treat them as a disposable item, it saves on getting wound up by them.

Have a couple in stock

Yeah, a 650b V3 frame with Kirk/Deville, just need to get a set of wheels, cranks, bb and we're good to go.

Thanks for the info, will probably stick with the RF then and get something ordered. I do tend to get through bbs quite quickly, more concerned about getting a working crank/bb combination to start with though!

Having been sold the wrong bb by LBS - a shimano sm-bb91-42a rather than 41a which I believe would do the job...

Will this fit?

Happy to cut the tube out or cups as required - more concerned with getting it set up with some xt cranks at the mo!
