Hi guys I have just bought a bike with a bb86 bb with apex 1 cranks. I would like to get a smaller front ring but the cranks won't accept a 34 or 36 so I need to swap cranks. I've read a rival crank has a direct mount so I could presumably change to a smaller ring by using any sram dm ring. My question is will any sram rival gxp cranks fit my bb at what I think is 86.5mm width? Thanks as my head is spinning looking at so many spec sheets.

Thanks mate. Now to find a suitable rival or force crankset that I can convert to 1x for my puny legs!
