I think I may need to change the bearings on my Cannondale slate. So was wondering if there is any cheap options for tools for the removal then installation of the bearings.
Thanks
The Park tool to drift out bearings isn't massively expensive, but you could always make your own out of a length of pipe.
All I use to fit bearings is a length of threaded steel, some washers and a couple of nuts.
Tap them out, tap the new ones in with the old bearing.
I have a slight creaking from from bottom bracket area. So I presume it will be a bearing issue. I've been told it could be the spider on chainring.
I'm trying to do repairs for my self now I have more spare time
