Notice you can get a few BB now to allow BB30 cranks to fit BSA threads. Heard some criticism that the bearings are too small and it doesn't work that well. Wondered if anyone here had tried it and whether it was ok? What BB do you use? Would be for road use.

Thanks.

Yes I'm doing it on both my summer and winter road bikes - Rotor BSA30 BB in BSA threads. Standard BB30 bearings so no smaller than usual. They work fine, I've had mine in for nearly 4 years and have changed the bearings in each one once.

I have a bb30+ Force cx1in my pickenflick using a rotor converter B.B.
Really smooth after around 3.000 miles.

I’d say this is probably the best B.B. combo I have in any bike.

Sounds good. Thanks. Rotor seems the obvious choice too.

The B.B. is a strange size so make sure it comes with the B.B. tool.
Mine was ordered from CRC and the tool with it.

The Hope one is very nice.

Bit pricier for the Hope than the Rotor, and then an extra tenner for the tool. Not too bad I guess.
