....any suggestions for longer lasting without having to change the cranks?

Also, anywhere with the better/suggested model actually in stock?

Hmmm, I think you will find the moon Io on a platinum coated, diamond encrusted stick in aisle 7 but not sure about the in stock pf30 BB.

I bought one of those Hope PF46 BBs that takes a 24mm crank. Even that's not been immune to clicking and complaining.

Wish I knew the answer almost prepared to go back to 2*10 if I could find the BB you describe!

We ran the Enduros and Stumpjumpers with the Hope ones once the Specialized ones needed changing. Saying that we are still running a couple of the originals that are over 4 years old.
I have a new Hope one ready to fit but not needed it

There is one on ebay at the moment

My 2015 Whyte 29C FSA PF30 lasted about 3-4 months... I replaced that with a Praxis Works PF BB converter for 24mm spindle cranks & that was still going strong after 11000km+ when I sold the bike.

I'd recommend a Praxis Works BB30 convertor in a heartbeat - they're just like having a threaded BB again and a very high quality BB at that.
