I’m looking to swap components onto a new frame. Currently have a raceface turbine cinch crank with a pf30 BB, will the crank work with a threaded BB? From what I can figure out the threaded BB will also be 30mm ID

Cheers

James

Should be fine as long as it's the correct fitment for your frame.

Hope do a 30mm BSA BB, as do other brznds. Just don't buy the Nukeproof one.

We have 3 sets of cinch turbines. All roll perfectly happily on Hope BSA30 bottom brackets.

I’ve got a Wheels Mfg one on my bike - bigger bearings than the weedy RF ones that wear-out in a wet weekend

Just realised the new frame will be boost and the crank isn’t. Can the correct chai one be achieved using a non boost crank but a direct drive chain ring that has 3mm less offset?

Cheers

You can just swap the chain ring. RF did switch from a 134mm to 136mm axle at some point but it's not essential. Lots of companies make boost chainline cinch rings. My personal favourite is the one up switch model as run replacement is really easy.
