Advice needed from the light experts please.
I have a new Lumicycle 1340 single light unit with the big battery pack. Pretty good light and huge run times. Beam spread not as good close up and cornering as my old Light & Motion Seca 700.
Can I run the Seca as well off the Lumicycle battery by joining correct jack plug end to the Seca cable.
The Seca cable end has three pins whereas Lumicycle jack plug would only allow for two inner wires?
Have not cut anything yet but would seem sensible to keep using a good light and so have two head units with different beam patterns or one as a head unit and utilise all that battery power.
Thoughts/advice please

Unless the battery uses a power meter or uses the third wire to run a lower power option, which is seriously overcomplicated I doubt the third pin does anything. My hope connectors have three wires/pins but only two are used.
Get some heat shrink for the repair and carefully snip the ends off not in one go mind the short might be not be so entertaining.
