The battery on my solarstorm has given up the ghost (2 yrs old so not too bad). When I took it apart there was a fair amount of water in the pack. I had tried to waterproof it when I bought it but over time it has leaked.

I have been looking around for a waterproof battery box to replace it but all of the ones I seem to come across are shipped direct from China (or out of stock in this country).

Anyone know of any UK suppliers of the boxes?

Id call either Torchy (the battery boy) ebay and off here or MTBbatteries.

Have used Torchy on my last purchase and he was brilliant

I got a solarstorm box from gearbest, can't remember if it shipped from china or the EU though. Seems to be working Ok with samsung 18650 cells in it.

I couldn't find these for UK supply either. Ended up ordering one from HK and it arrived fairly quick, 2-3 weeks from memory. It was the later type box that doesn't have the USB constantly powered.

Another recommendation for Torchy as the guy was really helpful.
