Well the charger went bang, battery seems fine. This seems a common problem. So can i replace it with my hope one? I will contact DX to see if they will send me new one but for the moment i need to charge the lights for the 24/12.
So the bastid light one is Input 100-240Vac 50/60hz and output 8.5DC 1.8A. The hope one is input 100-240Vac 50/60hz and output 8.4v 1.3A. So I think it should be fine as the output is less than the original. Could there be any issues?

They are both 2S chargers the only real difference is the actual charge rate, but so long as it is less than half the capacity of the battery it will be fine. (Li-Ion batteries like to be charged C/2 for long term performance)
Any problems or you need a replacement charger please email me as I stock compatible chargers.
The Hope charger will take slightly longer to charge, but not really noticable
