I've just stripped my chainset down to change the rings back to triple. I'm working on the rule of thumb that the ramps and pins and writing face inwards on the outer and middle, but if I follow the same rule for the granny ring it looks like it's the wrong way round. Am I going mad, or should the granny ring face the other way, ie writing towards the middle ring?

I've found some pictures that seem to confirm I was right in the first place, so perhaps it's just me.....
