What are you using and what do you think of it?
I don't want a bolt on one as I don't think it's a good idea
Thanks in advance

I decided to try one of those after finding it on offer on merlin cycles yesterday.
I ran a carbon one on my last levo but 70 quid seems a tad pricey for the same one for the new bike

I thought about one for my Kenevo SL but since it's pretty much attached to the motor one that'll break seemed a better option than one that wouldn't (and put the 'force' into the motor).

Yes, totally agree @intheborders. I wouldn't put my faith in one of those type

i use one of the aluminium skid plat type of ones - protec MTB i think it was. attached by replacing the battery screw with a longer one and a couple of pieces of velcro (changed these out for some 3M dual lock 'velcro' as far stronger)

no issues so far and have given it some hefty whacks either grounding out on something or from rock strikes
