I was looking for a similar bar and almost failed. I extended my existing bar with clever bar end plugs.

Have a look at how we go on... http://singletrackmag.com/forum/topic/what-wide-bar-with-big-sweep

I just bought a set of these for my hub geared SS to give it the summer cruiser look.

They sort of fit your description IHN.

Could you not achieve the same hand position by using a stem with more rise and a 'normal' bar with lots of sweep?

I could, but my stems pretty risey anyway.

A combination of gangly legs and dicky knee means my saddle's pretty high...

slugwash - is that photo with the new bars?
(Also looking for a bar with lots of rise - similar to that I spotted on a Dutchie recently - but need more than in the photo)

No, that photo's about five years old. I started building it into a RTB but then decided it needed to turn back into a SS on account of the horizontal drop outs....
