I've long lusted after the Wolf Tooth Remote Sustain for some reason. I've only needed to bleed my reverb once, recently, but I've wanted rid of the push-button remote. I just think it's ugly, plus the sheath on the pusher has split, exposing slightly rusty metal underneath. First world problems, in a time of way bigger problems, I know.

However, a little internet browsing led me to discover this cable and connector kit for £33

https://www.leisurelakesbikes.com/341895/products/wolf-tooth-remote-sustain-reverb-kit.aspx?currency=GBP&chosenAttribute=WTSUSTAINBKIT&gclid=CjwKCAjwvZv0BRA8EiwAD9T2VUObB5p8WbbY22bD-QFKz-E7p5mVYJ3FqUK6Ef0u2gF3qWuy2edUfxoCrkIQAvD_BwE

I remembered a thread on here relating to the ZTTO dropper levers on Ebay that are as cheap as £14, which would have meant my conversion came to a relatively meagre £47! Way cheaper than the nearly £90 for the full Wolf Tooth setup, the remote on its own is about £70. However, the earliest delivery was mid April, so I had a Google and found this Giant Switch lever for £25 including next day delivery:

https://www.tredz.co.uk/.Giant-Switch-Seatpost-Lever-Cable-Set_118242.htm?sku=450864&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=google_shopping&gclid=CjwKCAjwvZv0BRA8EiwAD9T2VXhGA2SRZrGIZ8jGIxg8s1tP4j2pOqe6sMoKKs9HU9qKqsgcnS3tTRoCvssQAvD_BwE

All in all I've converted to cable actuation for about £60! The installation video on YouTube was very easy to follow, and the remote seems nice and the action is much smoother than the outgoing one.

I'm a happy chappy!

I can sell you a little used 1x Reverb lever for £33 posted if you’re interested. Nicest lever I’ve used but have moved to CB Highline posts.

Edit: didn’t read your post properly. Too much beer 😀

@hamishthecat I’d like to buy your reverb 1x lever if it’s still available?

Those looking to buy a used 1x remember you need to get the bleeding edge adaptor to bleed when fitted, old one won’t work as the bleed port is different.

I’d ask if it’s included in the sale if available.  Frankly the old button was easier to bleed as you need to keep the new adaptor held in.  Took me a few goes to get right.

If you want a cable kit TFT has the bike yoke ones at a good price too Link

Just done this myself with a s/h 1x
