My good friend is going to build up a nice hardtail 29'er which is suited for 120mm travel forks.
Given the collective sourcing and bargain hunting of the STW collective, has anyone noted any bargains in shopper land?
32mm stanchions would be fine but need to be 15mm.
Thanks all.
RCZ are selling the SR Aion 35 29" for 145 Euros (discount code: RCZRES2). 120mm, boost. Keep in mind they can take a few weeks to deliver.
Worth signing up for their newlsetter, they do a fair amount of fork deals.
Have trawl through r2 bike.
They have/or had the best price when I was looking last month.
Boost or non boost?
Either will work, but preference for non boost.
Thanks.
I have just bought a pair of non boost sid rl 120mm forks from wiggle for less than half price. Think they were £280ish. Don’t know if they are of any interest?
Used Any good? Got some fully working Fox 32 RLs lying around that tick all your boxes. Cheap!
SR suntour certainly worth a look, thier higher end stuff is very good value and a lot better than the cheap crap a lot of oems are using to cut costs.

I recently got some Suntour Zeron 35 forks after a recommendation here. They're on eBay from a German shop for £140. They're coil sprung and well heavy but by all accounts are very nice if you weigh the right amount for the spring...they seem really well made and look super burly though haven't built the bike yet. The Aion deal mentioned above would be better I guess if it's in stock. The Zerons are 140mm travel though apparently you can get shorter springs or something to drop them down.
Crc had some Manitou Machete, I think, for under £200 a couple of weeks ago
I have brand new RS Judy's going on ebay when I get a spare minute. Cheap as.
CB200 I could be interested if Benz isn't interested. My email is in my profile. Cheers
I bought some of them SID RL 120mm forks from wiggle too. After 5 miles they had 40mm travel and wouldn't return to fully extended no matter what pressure they had in them. I sent them back, and now wiggle have returned them to their supplier for inspection... Which is all taking ages.
