Planet x do a lizards skins copy which is pretty good for grip and hard wearing.

Ive got the Lizard Skins DXP and it's hard wearing. grippy in the wet and most importantly of all, it looks good.

I use Fi'zik tape, lasts me for several years. Comfy too.
