I've seen that Merlin sell packages for Bar, stem & posts (3 different race face specs - Ryde, Evolve & Deus at £50, £95 & £130). Has anyone bought one of these sets - and is it worth opting for the pricier of the 3? I take it the main difference is weight?

Does anyone know if there are any other shops that do similar packages that might be worth looking at?

Cheers,
Rich.

I got the Deus set at the end of last year. It's been OK apart from the seat angle slipping a couple of times

Thanks for the responses guys, much appreciated.

Had a look on wiggle but they've sold out of the deus stems in the size I want. The Race Face ride package from Merlin looks the best Value at £50 - any weight benefits of getting the more pricey stuff is heavily offset by my beer gut anyway, and I've splashed out on other parts of the build where I don't want to have to replace things so I don't mind pinching pennies a little on the finishing kit as it can be upgraded over time if I feel the need or find some spare cash.
