Mate of mine has one of these and the mount is next to useless - the light keeps coming lose and ends up pointing at the floor! Anyone know of a good after market option?

Thanks

try a smaller O ring or pack out the bar with insulation tape

I stuck blu tack under the body of the light.

Crude but effective.

Similar to above - I use a few wraps of self-amalgamating tape to give a soft base for it to bed into and it saves the carbon bars from marking too much

This works great, hense why there out of stock of the mounts on CRC...

(If you can find the Electron EHP300/305/310/315/320/330 mount, it does the same job too, but is no longer stocked by CRC)

Wasnt the other simple solution to hang the light from the bottom of the bar that way it will never end up pointing down...

I use a peice of thick pipe lagging & a big 'O' ring looped around the bar. Works a treat. I got the 'O' rings from a supplier through work. Engineering samples, obviously. 😉
