I didn't want to hijack the other bar ends thread but it did remind me that i'm after a set, I'd like to put some bar ends on the cross bar of my Geoff bars, so they can't be of the slide on variety which is all I have in my spares box. Does anything like this exist?

Yes if you look at the Holland bike shop they have some with a hinge for drops. They might need a shim for Geoff bars.
