Got this plastic bar mount thing, piece of junk on my ebike, but can't work it without it.. trying to adjust it, turned the wrench the wrong way (working upside down and all that) and the thing has snapped. £120odd for a replacement, oh yes.
So anyone have any good ways to fix such a thing. I've superglued it for the moment but can't see that lasting. Have some Sugru - maybe down each side to hold it?
What say STW?

plastic welding using a soldering iron and sacrificial piece of plastic.
Oh ok, not tried that before. Just melt it in the gap and use like glue?
Essentially speaking yup.
Cheers, I'll try it 🙂
