Built up an an Inbred in B6er with Exotic carbon fork and old Monkey lite carbon bar. very pleased with it so far but the bar has been cut down in the past and feel a bit narrow so I'm considering changing it.
I've read that a lot of SS riders use alt bars, old thread here. What's the latest feeling and suggestions?
No need for all that alt bar stuff unless you already have it. Standard 9deg sweep alu eastons for me on a ss.
I'm quite liking OG bars at the moment.
Marys Jones fleegles and normal risers have all been okay.
Thats a lie actually.
Jones bar were pointless and stressful
I was running jones loops, will be again this winter, currently have ergon grips and bar ends on them
I've got stooge moto bars on my ss pugsley, and just bought another set I like them so much
Love carbon OG bars on my SS rigid. Tried Jones but came back to these. They're so comfy. 8)
I'm using a set of Renthal Fatbars on mine.
On one knuckleball in chewy flavour here ,great value and comfy.
Stooge Moto FTW!
I use some cheap 40mm risers. Works well for more aggressive riding but on longer rides I hanker after something with some sweep and less rise.
Fleegles here. Usually at a giveaway price at on one
On one OGs are very comfy. I added some Deluxe bar extenders to give em an extra 20mm on each end.
I had OG carbons on mine. Felt nice, best of the alt bars I'd used but preferred a set of big **** off wide Renthals like my other bikes.
Same bars as you'd run on any other bike. Got 750mm 9 degree sweep bars on all my bikes inc a rigid SS.
MT Zooms for me with the extra thick ESI grips
