Ok, I'm prepared to get flamed as I'm bound to annoy someone on here!

Right, hoping to get a secondhand Phantom frame/ full bike.
Got the opportunity to possibly purchase a 2016 build BUT in size Medium. Bit of a distance to drive to though.... hence posting on here first.

Medium is stated as height "<6 foot."

I'm spot on 6 foot....

So Banshee infers I'm possibly just a little too tall?

Anyone riding a Medium? If so is there anyone around my height size to give me some feedback?

Don't mind the sarcasm but a few helpful posts would be appreciated too! 🙂

Not a phantom, but I have a 2015 spitfire and at 6' and 3/4" I find the large frame to be just big enough with a 50mm stem.

Just to clarify, that's three quarters of one inch, not 3 or 4 inches!

I'm 5 ft 10 and would definitely find the medium too small.

I personally would go for a large or XL. I built a Spitfire 2016 in medium for a mate & test rode it, was a fun bike but way too small for me.had 50mm stem.760mm bars I am 6ft 1 with long torso so like long reach.
My current new frame is XL Smuggler with 483mm reach & I love it.

im 6ft with a 32inch inside leg, I test rode the medium which felt great but bought the large and run it with a 30mm stem. Not sure how the medium would feel now - prob too small and also I prefer the longer wheelbase on the steep stuff,

It's probably too small but it does depend on how much of you is legs (shorter back suits a shorter reach) and how long a fork you're planning to put on it (shorter gives more reach), and how wide bars you can run (wider adds size). I'm 5'10.5" on a 2014 medium Spitfire and it's a perfect fit (and I wish my Bird Zero AM was the same size!)

On a Spitfire. 5'9" woman on a medium. Wouldn't want a different size. I'd think that might be a bit small for you.

Thanks for information!

Not to start a new thread... Can I ask you guys if the frame decals are removable like Orange decals?

In other words, are they applied above the paint?

Thanks again!

A hair under 5 foot 9 - my medium Prime served me well.

Decals weren't removable on the anodised black frame.

I'm a similar size to you and I'd be going for the large.
