A friend has a rather sad Isla that he managed to drive over. The frame is folded in the middle but eveything else appears to be ok. It'd be nice to find a use for the parts rather than chuck the whole thing in the tip. Does anyone know anywhere to get a frame by itself? Or are there any aspirant frame builders (Sheffield based) who fancy a project? An option would be to make something out of plywood but I feel like it'd weigh a ton and not work very well.
The bike was like this before it met its doom.

I'm Sheffield based and have built balance bike frames but there's no financial or practical benefits otherwise I'd have taken it off you.
Yeah I'm aware it's not a sensible use of time or money given how cheap they are! I might make a replacement downtube and get it all fitted up, and see if I can find someone to weld it in.
I started brazing so that I would be the person to "weld it in" but got bored of the post-braze finishing process so haven't done anything in ages.
