My legs look like two pieces of string hanging out of my baggies so I’m after a narrower legged short.

What are my fellow twiggers wearing?

Endura MTR are quite slim fitting. Had mine for a few years and are really good. Only gripe for mine is that the velcro adjustment tabs curl up which I keep catching. New ones maybe different.

I've got endura shorts and they're the best fitting ones I've found - I'm tall and skinny.

I have 2 pairs of MT500 spray shorts and one pair of singletrack 2 shorts, all are 'slim' fit I would describe them as.

Altura All roads are very slim fitting.
I bought some for use on the gravel bike (as I like to wear a hit more than just lycra!)
They are pretty lightweight though.

CRC had them reduced down to £14 recently (inc liners) which was a real bargain.

Sizing is weird though. I'm 6ft with 35" waist and XL was just right.

The (what was morvelo) overland shorts are good. Not too baggy.

I've found these to be pretty close fitting:

Decathlon MTB shorts

check out the GV500 endura gravel model, shorts are slimfitting and 4 way stretch,

Sweet Protection Hunter shorts fit the bill. Nicely tailored.

Both exist. Overland do their gravel stuff. Morvelo do the Roadie stuff (with a few crossovers).

Have another look. Loads of MTB on Morvelo again, I just bought a nice stripy top from them

Decathlon +1, I don't have skinny legs but do have to size up, button up all the waist adjusters and wear a belt.

Rapha now do MTB kit. They also do the Randonnee shorts that might suit. The good thing is while they are expensive you do get free returns if you don't like them.
