Anyone got a good supplier for bafang spares.

I need a remove switch for a c965 headunit . The rubber buttons on mine have given up being waterproof after 5 years use and it's now started being unresponsive in the rain.

Everyone wants to sell me a whole new LCD controller which isn't really what I want. The switch is a plug in unit so no reason it shouldn't be availible seperate that I know of

Anyone seen one ?

I thought the switch was hardwired into the LCD panel. I think we got our replacement from someone on Amazon, via Hong Kong.

I hope not as mines in my house on. The mantle attempting to dry it out.....and the bike/LCD unit are outside in the rain 🙂

Absolutely definantly two parts on the c965 unit . Connected by a 4 pin plug.

Although you have prompted me to look closer at the current on the market at Dillinger c965 and it is indeed hard wired and a very different design .

Probably explains why I can't find them as spares.....

Wonder if any other switches will work:/

Good luck with the search, if no luck I should imagine that the newer version would work so long as the connections are the same pin configuration.

There’s a guy on eBay selling micro switches for DI2, to put under tape etc, wonder if these would work.

Stripped it down.

Dried it out

Removed the green solder and resoldered the joint.

Double bagged and taped it.

Won't be hassling me for a while.

Mean while I'll look for a new one but far less of a rush now.

Replaced it with a 500c. In the end.

It worked fine for a week or so then reverted to its old ways

While I was waiting on it I fitted the thumb throttle that came with the kit

When on thumb throttle it doesn't limit to 15.5.....

30mph+ with ease so I have to manually limit it....obviously it would rinse battery at 30mph.
