following on from last weeks post on this subject we now have a diffinative answer,
while riding to work this morning on a busy suburban street i was confronted with a lad on a bmx cycling up the hill toward me on my side of the road,
he saw me coming and made no attempt to move onto the path or the correct side, so i greeted him with respect due and the line,
''why are you cycling on the wrong side of the road you bell-end ???''
he's angry reply, ''I'm doing a paper round !!''
so there you have it, want invinciblilty powers,

Good answer from the paper lad. They should be allowed to ride on pavements.
I heard from a postie, who's also their union rep, that posties ride on the pavement because it's illegal for anyone, including coppers, to "interfere with the delivery of her majesty's mail". So they're not allowed to ride on the pavement, but nobody's allowed to stop them.
