The straps on my Evoc pack are more than a little whiffy after a few weeks of warm dryish riding. Short of stripping out the back protector and bunging the whole thing in the wash, any easy de-ponging solutions ? I guess I could liberally apply some Old Spice ! 😀

My bags just take a trip through the machine every so often.

If it won't survive a trip (or trips) through the washing machine it was crap and you shouldn't have bought it in the first place. 😉

Edit: All my cycling kit gets washed in Halo.

Put it through a low spin wash, them hang it out in the sun to dry. The uv helps to kill the bacteria which produce the aroma.

And of course, you could save money on Halo by using normal washing powder/liquid and some Napisan.

by buying it when it's offer in Sainsburys, I think it was half price the last time I stocked up.
