Does anyone here have a Babboe Carve?
Ive picked up a Babboe Flow second hand, at a great price and very local to us (ie: we can ride it home).
The Babboe Carve is roughly the same bike but it tilts, however having looked under the Flow, i can see that the brackets that the gas struts on the Carve attach to are present, and there are triangular plates that hold the bike rigid and vertical.
As well as the gas struts, there is also a locking mechanism that holds the bike vertical, but im not sure how that works (there dont appear to be any damper controls on the gas struts in image ive found online))
I emailed Babboe and they just said "no, no its a totally different frame", which it clearly isnt!
I was hoping someone might have one so i/we can work out the differences and if a conversion is possible or sensible.
tbh i dont mind not doing exactly what babboe have done, but it would be good to compare just to be sure that there isnt added structure that would be required to keep it safe!
Ive asked on the babboe forum, but its populated by people who are not bike people, and while they are helpful its not easy to get enginerdy bike type questions across to them
