Usual apologies apply, but in this case they are genuine as I know nobody on here wants a 26" old style bike..

Given the supposed current market for second hand bikes, I'm finally getting off my arse to try and sell my old bike. Will probably use Gumtree at a set price so can't go for the "stick it on eBay and see what it gets" option

Ibis Mojo Special Blend about twelve years old. It was the [relatively] cheap edition they did for a while. Full carbon, full Suss, SLX gears, X fusion forks and shock.

Cost £2250 new with a ten percent discount. Was thinking around £300, but perhaps more if the market is bouyant.

Does that sound too optimistic?

Using the standard depreciation calc of 50% in year 1 and 10% for subsequent years gives £435, maybe less given it's a 26" but more because 2nd hand bikes are going for more now. Ask for £450 and see what offers you get, assuming it's in good condition.

£600-700 is my estimate, if demand is still as high as it was when I was selling recently.

That's eBay and is dependent on you being willing to post though.

assuming it’s in good condition.

Ahhh, err. Umm.

Actually, saying that, it's probably in about as good condition as the Stumpie Expert that I bought on here years ago from some lying cretin who advertised it as being in " excellent condition"

Thanks for the input.
