I am desperate to go out for a ride today, but my usual choice of Cannock or FOD just seem too far.
Has anyone got a route around the Avon Dassett hills?
I've been up them on a road bike, but never explored.
There are various 'naughty' trails around there, just scour your OS map. It's likely to be pretty muddy at the moment, but we sometimes do a nice little loop starting and ending in Hornton, that goes along Edgehill and through Shenington airfield.
You could just go up Burton Dassett and lark about on the hills creating mini,Red Bull Rampage lines...
There is a route from up Burton Dassett down to Fenny Compton below...Just have an explore. Got no links to routes sorry.
