Up in Aviemore for the weekend and riding High Burnside for the first time. Grateful for any must-ride trail recommendations. Typically ride Aberfoyle and Tweed Valley off-piste stuff if that gives any indication of comfort zone.
All the trails up Nazi gold end, and finish on bracken bashing and behind the house. Tbh you could ride pretty much most of it in an evening, all of it in a day.
If you've a spare hour, early or late, get up Craigellachie, it's a cracking wee techy descent, but avoid busy times for sure. Lovely views out over the corries too.

Hmm. Not been down Craigellachie for a long time. Mainly it's just been too busy. Should be ok at the moment right enough.
Well, that was laaaarvely. Was surprised at how playful a lot of the descents were - most of them not bonkers-intimidating with a few notable exceptions. The area also has a good line in engaging singletrack climbs; a pleasant change for me after a good few years of mostly winching up fire roads.
Did you ride Antidote? It was ace earlier in the year (and I think had a mental chute near the very start from what I glimpsed..)
Nah, I did the adjacent one - Trail to Nowhere. Didn't do all the doubles and drops justice, as my legs were like chewed bubblegum by that point.
Also did Nazi Gold, Lefticle, Christ Almighty and Richard's Down. Finished with Braken Bashing and Behind the Houses as per above suggestion.
